I haven't done a big Andrew update for a long time. He's a 3 1/2 year old preschooler now. As he tells me he is my big boy....not my baby. :( He says some of the funniest things. He loves preschool, his teacher says he likes to be funny and once he starts laughing it's hard to stop him. He learned to climb the big toy at preschool this fall. He's very smart. He knows how to sing at least 10 songs now and our bedtime routine is very different now. He likes to read a book to baby sister. He also still likes to be rocked for a few minutes before bed and now he sings a long.

He also likes to make up his own words.

After bath time when we dry off he likes to pretend to be Wicket, the Ewok from Star Wars. We taught him to say Ichiwawa and now he says that then says, Ichi-wall, ichi-door, ichi-sticker chart (things he sees in the bathroom). He says daddy is Chewbacca and I'm Manny. I don't know where Manny came from.

He likes to wipe his nose on our shoulder or sleeve and say, "That's not cool!"

He has quite the imagination and he likes to make stuff up. One day the names he gave us all were: eggs, oatmeal, salad, cookies, spaghetti (us and the dogs) He also pretends to be a dog, or Bob the builder, among other things.

He asks questions about baby sister:

"Will I be able to take a bath with her?"

"Will she talk?"

"Will she walk?"

He wants to rock her and read her stories. He's very excited and wants her to come out now. Of ocurse he also said that he wants to go stay at Muh's house until Christmas. I told him I would miss him and he said that I could come visit and play. :)

He remembers EVERYTHING: If you said you would do something or go somewhere and he remembers where we've been and who gave him what. He will even give you accurate directions on how to get somewhere.

The Pumpkin Express

These pictures are backwards but it won't let me put them in the order I want like it usually does. October 24th daddy took Andrew to Mineral, WA to ride the Pumpkin Express train. He really liked it, except when he was standing in front of it and it pulled in and let out a lot of steam and Andrew started shaking and crying, he did still ride it though.

The Pumpkin Patch and Dad's Night at Preschool

I know, I am SO far behind, this post is from October 22nd (and today is Dec. 16th!). We took Andrew that day on a field trip with his preschool class to Scholz Farms. That night they also had Dad's night at the church and he had fun showing daddy his classroom and doing projects with him. He also likes to run around and be silly. (Like 'squirting' his teachers with his pretend hose since he was wearing his fireman jacket :)
