More random fun!

We made brownies this afternoon and Andrew got to stir them and lick the batter.

And yes, he isn't wearing pants, just underwear.

Scraping chocolate out of the bowl.

Chocolate, yum!

Then he went out after dinner and played in the yard with the dogs.

The grass and the weeds really need to be mowed down but he's having fun anyway. :)

Playing with Zoe

Andrew brushing his teeth

Andrew loves to turn the water on and off (he just gets in trouble sometimes for not turning it off)

He's trying to wash the chocolate off of his face.

Gardening with daddy and the park

The weather was very nice while I was sick with bronchitis, so Andrew went outside and did 'gardening' with daddy while daddy thatched the yard. (4/20/09)
He helped daddy plant the flowers he had picked out for mommy for Easter :)

Then he had a lot of fun using his little shovel to transfer dirt back and forth between his 2 pots

The two gardeners

Andrew was very happy to be outside in the sunshine, he loves it!!

These pictures are from another nice day at the park.

Walking across the bridge very gingerly

A picture from underneath one of the bridges, silly daddy :)

He loves this slide

He's always so excited to be at the park, he's very much an outside boy.

Doin the Puyallup....the Puyallup Spring Fair

On Sunday afternoon, April 19th we called up the grandparents and asked if they wanted to go to the Spring Fair with us. I decided since it was so sunny out we should go do something fun, even though all I wanted was a nap because I couldn't sleep the night before from coughing. Probably not such a great idea, I found out I had bronchitis the next day and was feeling worse. We did have fun though. :)
There was a kids' area but he wasn't interested for too long. He did make that green hat and planted a pumpkin seed which has now sprouted.

The petting zoo

He wasn't quite as shy with the animals this time.

Petting a baby bunny and baby chicks.

Grumpa, Andrew, and Muh

You can tell they were all thrilled that I took this picture

Me and my boys

Andrew loved riding the trucks (he said cars), there weren't a lot of other rides for small children

Book 'em Dan-o! Checking out the police car

Riding on the jump seat of the little fire truck

I didn't realize this was a full working fire station, I just thought they were here for display.

He was a little scared about standing up on the front of the fire truck

They had this cool display of all kinds of metal things with sticks for banging and making 'music'

Random pictures

I was really sick for a couple of weeks so here are some random pictures, nothing too exciting. He did some more things with daddy that week.
Playing trains

My little conductor
(He's already planning his 'Thomas birthday' I don't think he understands that it's 11 months away)

Mr. Fix-It
Helping daddy fix the vaccuum
He also learned to spit, how attractive. Could a mother be prouder?

This is one from Bradley Lake Park, he LOVES that blue car! He asks to go to the one by Wal-Mart with the car.

Andrew's 3 year stats

So I took my big boy for his 3 yr. well child visit on Monday, April 13th (right before we got sick).
ANDREW, 3 YEARS OLD:
29 lbs.
36 inches
He is very smart, so now we are going to work on some more physical things, which he is more timid about. He still can't jump, he's going around the house with his batman cape trying to fly and jump. :) He will stand on one foot though.

Andrew's Easter basket at home

Since I had to work a 12 hour shift on Easter I told Andrew that the Easter bunny knew that and decided to bring his Easter basket on Monday morning. Besides he knew he was going to have a few other celebrations the day before.
Here is his Easter basket. The piano, the blue box, and the horse he already had on his table. But he did get the Diesel train and the Spiderman placemat for Easter.
He even received a letter from the Easter bunny in the mail.

Showing me his new friend 'Peter Rabbit' that he got at Muh's house. (He fell asleep in the car the night before so he's still wearing his dress shirt...with pj pants)

Spiderman!

What's in here? Is there candy? I can't get it open.

More Easter fun with the Bouma's

"Over the river and through the woods to grandmother's house we go."
So after my parents' house Andrew and daddy went to Matt's parents' house to celebrate Easter with them. He got to do a THIRD Easter Egg hunt.
Starting to fill his basket

Have to get those eggs before cousin Sam gets them all.

What a cutie!

Anything in here? Nope, just real eggs.
More pictures
Then Andrew and Sam dogpiled on grandpa and had a tickle fight
This one is my favorite!

This one is my second favorite
