A fun girly baby shower

Again the pictures are in reverse order but here are pictures of the wonderful baby shower my sister-in-law put together. She didn't even get to be there because her kids were sick. :(

The search for the perfect Christmas tree

So while Auntie Kara was here for the weekend we went on the search for our Christmas tree. (Nov. 14th) The Christmas tree lot we go to every year does pre-selection between Halloween and Thanksgiving and then you come back and cut it between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

'Auntie Kara' and Andrew in front of the tree we picked after we decorated it with ribbon (Note to self: next time measure the living room space and bring a tape measure)

Matt, Jana, and a silly Andrew

The three of us...plus Nora

33 weeks pregnant

Being silly!

Andrew's looking for that perfect tree

Hmmm....I'm thinking not

Andrew found a tree just his size :)

Auntie Kara's visit

Well, Auntie Kara (mommy's cousin) came down for the weekend of November 13th-15th, which Andrew commandeered most of. And she spent a little time with my parents. He convinced her to come down and have dinner and spend the night on Friday night and then go tree hunting with us the next morning. And she came back and helped mommy and daddy do some stuff in the baby's nursery. And then she also came to Nora Annabelle's baby shower on Sunday. He said he wanted Auntie Kara to stay until Christmas! He does want her to stay over again though.

Playing Candyland, one of his favorite games

When Auntie Kara got here Friday night he put on her big puffy jacket just for fun! Is he in there, can you see him?

Zoe found him! :)

Cooking and baking with mommy

Mommy was doing some deep cleaning of the kitchen (ignore the state of my hair and all else) and decided to do some rare cooking and baking with Andrew.
Grrr! My little sous chef

Getting ready to make cookies

Mixing up oatmeal chocolate chip cookie dough. He's really pretty good with the stand mixer and not turning it on too fast.

And then I actually get to use this Christmas apron my aunt made for me. :)
