Christmas with the Boumas

We had our Christmas celebration at Matt's parents' house tonight. Andrew was a little confused. We took presents for the rest of the family with us and I told him he'd get to open presents too and he said his presents were at home. We had a nice ham dinner and then the kids tore into the packages.

The funny things Andrew says

When Andrew looked at the crescent moon tonight he said,
"It looks like a nut, a cashew nut!"
The other day when we were baking and decorating sugar cookies he said,
"It smells like Christmas because we're making Christmas cookies."

The crib

Matt picked up the crib today and he needed enough room to work in the baby's room so he opened it up in Andrew's room. The box filled the whole room!!!! Andrew was a good helper, he had 3 screwdrivers out, one for each of us. :)

Helping dad screw in the sides

He was very excited to help build the bed

Andrew still fits!

He also thinks he should get to take some baths in the baby bathtub. He says there's a spot for him and a spot for Nora.

Sugar cookies yesterday

So Andrew and I made sugar cookies yesterday. And even though it makes a huge mess and and takes a long time, I love it!!! We had so much fun! Andrew was really into it and had to put two different kinds of 'sprinkles' on every cookie. :)

He's actually very good with the mixer and turns it on slowly and only if you ask him too

He was actually pretty good at using the screwdriver and screwing in the screws

Gingerbread Houses

We made gingerbread houses with Andrew's best friend Ethan for the second year. Which actually meant the moms mostly built the houses while the kids ate candy and played. :)

He did actually help with the roof

We went to Zoolights last week (Dec. 10th) in 15-20 degree weather!! Brrr!!!
